A piece of technology I own that I think is difficult to use is my computer.
My parents gave me my first computer when I was a kid. I guess they wanted me to get familiar with computers because they knew that I’ll need to use them a lot someday. And they were right, of course. In this modern age, it’s absolutely necessary to have some computer skills. I ended up using mine quite often for school, like for research or looking up basic information. I’m sure that once I graduate from college, I’ll still be using the computer for work. But aside from that, I also use my computer for leisure. For instance, sometimes I browse the internet, watch online streams, or play games on my computer. It’s a good way to take a break from schoolwork, and it really helps me relax and relieve stress.
Anyway, I’m pretty comfortable with my computer nowadays, but when I first started using it, I had a difficult time. In fact, anyone new to computers, like my grandparents, would struggle with using one because of complex it is. First, you have to learn the basics, like how to type. I remember it took me many months before I could type without having to look at the keyboard. Then, you have to learn how to use the operating system, such as Microsoft Windows, along with its basic programs, like Microsoft Office. It also takes a while to learn how to use the internet for things like performing searches effectively and navigating the websites.
